Step-01: Identify the planet with the second highest degrees (excluding Rahu and Ketu) in your horoscope and call it AMATYAKARAKA (AmK - STATUS GIVER). Life is a big zero without status; the status comes through profession and with the name of the organisation somebody is attached to.

Step-02: When there are auspicious planets in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th houses from the AmK, the AmK provides high status.

Step-03: When AmK is in the 3rd or 6th house from the Lagna and afflicted by the natural malefic planets (Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu), the AmK provides an elevated professional status.

Step-04: The AmK confers easy success in the profession if it is in an angle, trine, or 11th house from the Atmakaraka (planet with the first highest degrees in a horoscope other than Rahu & Ketu). We will call and mark the Atmakaraka planet as AK. Placement of AmK in the Trik houses from the AK is not considered favourable. It gives professional success after hard work and struggle.

Now, let us apply the above steps to the horoscopes of some known personalities.

HOROSCOPE OF SMT. INDIRA PRIYADARSHINI GANDHI

In the horoscope of the respected Smt. Indira Gandhi, Venus at 21 degrees is the planet with the second-highest degrees, and we will call Venus the Amatyakaraka (Amk) planet in her horoscope. Saturn at 21d47m is the planet with the first-highest degrees and is the Atmakaraka (AK) in her horoscope.

# By applying Step-02, we find that the Moon is in the 2nd house Capricorn from the AmK Venus. The Moon is an auspicious planet for being the natural benefic and the Lagna Lord in her horoscope. There is no planet in the 4th and the 5th houses from the AmK Venus.

# By applying Step-03, we find that the AmK Venus is in the 6th house from the natal Lagna and is with Rahu, which fulfills the condition of professional success with skill. Rahu blesses with the skill of backstabbing, opportunism, cynicism, scepticism, finding fault with others for no reason, mudsingling ability, multifaceted, giving false promises, unprincipled, manipulating, extremely selfish, scheming and plotting against others, sharp-witted (चतुर - अपना मतलब निकालनेवाला) and exactly not intelligent which is in the domains of the natural benefic planets Mercury, Jupiter, & Venus.

# By applying Step-04, we find that Amk Venus is in the angle 10th houses from the AK Saturn in Navamsha and Dashamsha and fulfills the condition. She first became the I&B Minister in the Lal Bahadhur Shastri ministry and became the Prime Minister following the death of the respected Shastri-ji, reportedly under mysterious circumstances at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

HOROSCOPE OF SHRI NARENDRA MODI

In this horoscope, Saturn at 29.38 degrees is the Atmakaraka (AK), and Venus at 15.38 degrees is the Amatyakaraka.

# By applying Step-02, we find that there are mixed compositions of the natural benefic and malefic planets in the 2nd and the 4th houses from the AmK Venus. HOWEVER, AMK VENUS IS IN RAJ YOGA FOR ITS CONJUNCTION WITH AK SATURN.

# Step-03 is not fully applicable in this horoscope.

# By applying Step-04, we find that AmK Venus is in the same house with the AK Saturn and is in mutual angle from each other.

# In Navamsha, the benefic planets Moon is in the 2nd house and Jupiter in the 4th house from the AmK Venus in Leo. Venus is also Vargattoma.

# Though AmK Venus is not in the 3rd or the 6th house from the Lagna, it is conjunct with natural malefic Saturn in the Natal Horoscope and Rahu in the Navamsha and thus fulfilling the condition of Step-03. To become a successful political leader, AmK and the 10th lord should be afflicted. Please recall the significance of the conjunction of Rahu and AmK Venus mentioned beneath the horoscope of Smt. Indira Gandhi. In the case of the Natal Horoscope, these significations may fizzle out subsequently, but in the case of Rahu-AmK conjunction in Navmasha, the qualities of Rahu go on increasing with the passing days.

Please note that when a condition exists in the Natal Horoscope but does not exist in Navamsha or the Varga chart concerned, the condition weans out gradually. In this horoscope, AK is Mars, and Amk is Jupiter. There are benefic planets, Mercury and Venus, respectively in the 2nd and the 4th house from the AmK Jupiter.

AmK Jupiter is in the 6th house Capricorn from the Natal Lagna Leo and is aspected and afflicted by Mars and thus fulfils the condition enunciated at Step-03 above.

In the Natal Horoscope, AmK Jupiter is in the 8th house from the AK Mars, and Navamsha & Dashamsha in the 3rd houses from the AK Mars. AmK Jupiter was not in any trine, angle or 11th house from AK Mars for easy success in the profession with less effort because he was not a civilian officer, or politicians with a comparatively easy and enjoyable lifestyle; he was an Army Officer (a male native & patriot guarding the border in the rough and difficult terrains) in a senior position in a challenging and life-risking profession, which exactly reflected in his horoscope. However, in Navamsha and Dashamsha, AK Mars is in the 11th house from the AmK Jupiter, indicating a challenging professional domain with an elevated status. The patriotic male citizens, thus, guard the borders and secure the country by serving under inclement circumstances and by sacrificing their lives, which civilians-politicians with easy life patterns can not think of the real difficult life patterns of the patriotic male citizens in the defence forces.
