APPLICATION OF THE RESEARCH PARAMETERS IN THE HOROSCOPE OF SMT. INDIRA GANDHI

Smt. Indira Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India for the first time on 24 January 1966 during her Jupiter-Sun-Ketu MAP.

MDL JUPITER

In the Natal Horoscope, the MDL Jupiter is in the 11th house of Taurus ruled by Venus as the 6th and the 9th lord, and is in the Nakshatra of the Moon, the Lagna Lord.

Jupiter is in the Hora of the Sun, who is the natal 2nd lord and is in the 5th house of birth promise, in mutual aspect with the Sun, the karaka of government. Jupiter is the natural Karaka of the 2nd house of wealth and is in the Hora of the Natal 2nd lord, the Sun, which signifies that the native has earned a lot of wealth during her Jupiter Mahadasha.

Jupiter is in the Drekkana of Mercury as the Drekkana Lagna Lord and is in mutual angles from Mars and Mercury (both the natural significators of the Drekkana). Mars aspects the Drekkana Lagna of Pisces, and Mercury is in the Drekkana Lagna. In the natal horoscope, Jupiter is in mutual aspects with its Drekkana Lord, Mercury, which has increased its strength since Drekkana is also assessed for strength.

Jupiter in Navamsha is in Taurus and is Vargottama, and in Pushkar Navamsha (2nd Pada of Rohini Nakshatra), which makes it highly dignified. Otherwise, how can one become the PM? In the natal horoscope, Jupiter is in Parivartan Yoga with its Natal and Navamsha sign lord, Venus, involving the 6th house of competition and the 11th house of gain.

Jupiter in Dwadashamsha (the Divisional chart for assessing the blessings of the forefathers) is in the 7th house of Scorpio. Jupiter is in the adverse 12th house from the 4th lord, the Sun of the mother & her ancestors and is in the 9th house from the 9th lord Saturn of the father & his ancestors. In the Natal Horoscope, Jupiter is in the mutual aspect with the Dwadashamsha 4th lord, the Sun, and is in the 11th house from Saturn, the Dwadashamsha 9th lord. This indicates that she enjoyed parental blessings during the Jupiter Mahadasha.

Jupiter in Trishamsha, the Divisional Chart to assess misfortune, is in the benefic Pisces Trishamsha, which indicates that she did not face much misfortune and odds during her Jupiter Mahadasha.

She remained as the PM for two consecutive terms during her Jupiter Vimshottari Mahadasha.

SATURN

Smt. Indira Gandhi, during her Saturn Mahadasha, faced a lot of unforeseen mishaps in her life, which included the death of his grown-up child, Shri Sanjay Gandhi; electoral debacle; jail sentence; and finally her assassination while serving as the PM for her third and last term.

In the Natal Horoscope, Saturn is the 8th lord of longevity and the 7th lord of Maraka Sthana. Saturn is also in the afflicting role of the Lagna and Lagna Lord, the Moon and has been aspecting the 10th house of profession. Saturn is a natural Maraka planet and is in Paapkartari Yoga for being hemmed by Ketu and Mars. As a matter of rule, the Dasha of the 8th lord does not give good results if it does not have any Trikone lordship. Moreover, Saturn is in the Nakshatra of Mercury, the 12th lord (neutral) and 3rd lord (adverse Trishadaya lord).

Saturn, like the previous MDL Jupiter, is in the Hora of the Sun, but Jupiter was in the first part of the Hora, being 15d16s and was in the strongest part of the Hora. On the other hand, Saturn is at 21d47m and is in the average second part of Hora.

From the Hora Lagna Leo, MDL Jupiter was the Trikone 5th (auspicious) and the 8th lord (neutral), but Saturn is the adverse 6th Trishadaya & Trik lord and neutral 7th lord. While Jupiter is in mutual aspect with its Hora lord, the Sun, in the Natal Horoscope, Saturn is not.

Saturn, in Drekkana, though in the same position as that of the previous MDL Jupiter, but in the Natal Horoscope, Saturn is not connected to its Hora lord, Jupiter and devoid of good courage.

Saturn, in Navamsha, though in Capricorn Navamsha, is neither Vargottama nor Pushkar Navamsha, unlike the previous MDL, Jupiter, which was very dignified.

Saturn, in Dwadashamsha, is the 9th lord in the 11th house of Pisces, but is in the adverse 8th house from the 4th house of Leo, and is in a mutual angle from the 4th lord, the Sun. In the Natal Horoscope, Saturn is in mutual Trikone from the 4th lord, the Sun of Dwadashamsha. This indicates that she enjoyed her parental blessings during her Saturn Mahadasha, also.

In Trishamsha, Saturn is in the malefic Trishamsha Capricorn of Saturn and is strong in giving misfortune, and in Paapkartari of Mars and Rahu. This shows her unfortunate events during Saturn Mahadasha.
