STABILITY IN THE PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Rahu is in the 10th house, and the Mahadashas are related to the 5th, the 9th, and the 12th houses often create instability or change in the profession, of which the 5th house-related Mahadashas are dangerous, particularly if afflicted.
A strong, dignified, well-disposed 10th lord is an insulation against the instability in the professional career.
GROWTH IN THE PROFESSION:
The planets in the Upachaya Houses (3/6/10/11) in which the 10th house need not be vacant in the Natal and Dashamsha Horoscopes show growth in the profession.
The 10th house and the 10th Lord from the Sun also show growth in the profession.
If the Natal 5th or the 9th lord is/are in the signs identical to the Natal 5th or the 9th house in the Navamsha and/or Dashamsha also provides tremendous growth in the professional career if the horoscope is promising.
The Raj Yogas present in the Natal and the Dashamsha Horoscopes, without Yoga Bhanga and affliction, give tremendous growth in the profession.

Now, let us briefly discuss our subject matter in the horoscope of Smt. Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi, a former Prime Minister of India.
This great lady was born near midnight. The birth around midday and midnight is considered the most auspicious Abhijeet Muhurta birth, other than on Wednesday, on which Abhijeet Muhurta does not prevail. The duration of Abhijeet Muhurta is roughly 48 minutes (two Ghati or 120 Vighati) and remains operational during midday and midnight. She was born on a Monday.
She was born with Maha Yoga in her horoscope because it was a nighttime birth with the Ascendant, the Ascendant Lord, the Sun, and the Moon in the Even signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Capricorn, respectively. The opposite in the case of daytime births.
There are three pairs of Parivartan Yoga in her horoscope between the Lagna Lord and the 7th lord (Raj Yoga), between the 2nd lord and the 5th lord (Dhan Yoga), and between the 11th and the 6th lord (Dura Yoga/bad yoga).

The 10th house of the professional career is vacant, but the 10th lord is in a trine position from the 10th house and is involved in the Parivartan Yoga with the 2nd lord, the Sun. The 10th lord is unafflicted and in a friendly sign.
The 10th house of professional career and the Moon, the Lagna Lord and the Karaka of mind, are aspected by Saturn, the Karaka of masses/common people and the leader of the masses. Saturn also aspects the 3rd house of hobbies and inclination, injecting its natural significance and the lordship significance (Karkatva) of the 7th house of Padaprapti. Most importantly, Saturn is in degree conjunction with the degrees of the Ascendant and transferred its professional Karkatva of masses and their leadership to her. Saturn is unafflicted but in Paapkartari along with Lagna, showing external bad influences on her from opportunists, flatterers, immoral, wicked, and cunning people as indicated by the Paapkartari Yoga on the Lagna, representing the native, and Saturn.

There is a weak link between the 5th house of education obtained with the 10th house of profession because of the 10th lord, Mars, who is also the 5th lord, aspecting the 5th house and is in Parivartan Yoga with the Sun, the significator of father. She acquired the theoretical knowledge of politics from her father, a freedom fighter and the first Prime Minister of independent India.
