When different planets are in the 2^nd house, they influence the finances of a native in the following manner by their natural Karkatva and lordship in Kaalpurush Kundli (natural zodiac):

The Sun, being the 5^th lord of the Lakshmi Sthana of the Kaalpurush Kundli, when in the 2^nd house of finances, will benefit the native through finances from the Government. It is also an indirect indication of a government job or income from Government sources. The Sun may also provide finances from the electrical, solar-energy, and fire-related avocations.

The Moon is exalted in the 2^nd house of the Kaalpurush Kundli and will bring the finances for the native from the mother, property, and conveyances. The native may earn a huge profit by dealing with the property, as a transporter, artistic business, creche, nursing, company secretary, stenography, house-keeping, restaurant business, through inheritance of property from the mother, and rental income.

Mars is the Lagna and the 8^th lord of the Kaalpurush Kundli. Mars in the 2^nd house will give finances through inheritance, gifts, rental income, sudden turn of favourable events and fortune for unearned wealth, secret activities (8^th house significances), and from the defence and police services. Gymnasiums, players, playgrounds, all types of sports, sports and health clubs, and all forms of adventurous activities, competition, and competitive examination (publications & coaching centres), business partnership with the younger brother, etc., and their instructors also fall under the finances from Mars. Logistics also comes under the domain of Mars.

Mercury, as the 3^rd and 6^th lord of the Kaalpurush Kundli, will provide finances to the native through communication, trade & commerce, as a retailer, as a physician (neurologist), lawyer, or financial arbitrator/debut recovery tribunals, as an owner of a hospital or nursing home, and gain of finances through litigation, documentation, internet, stenography, and accountancy.

Venus is the natural significator of luxury, young males and females within the reproductive ages, well-behaved handsome boys and beautiful girls, perfumes, diamonds & platinum, and branded & expensive items for fashion and luxury. As such, Venus-related finances come through apart from the above, through luxurious hotels & motels, expensive restaurants, banks housed in a well-furnished building, expensive perfumes/garments/gift items, expensive items for the use by women, rare and expensive artefacts, entertainment and the fashion world, luxurious show-room and malls with an attractive ambience, cafeteria/bar/club, etc. where young couples frequent, and so on.   

When Saturn is in the 2^nd house as the 10^th and the 11^th lord of the Kaalpurush Kundli, it may provide finances through jobs and services, and from friends and immediate elder siblings, with hardship and procrastination. Unless Saturn is the lord of the 2^nd house or fully under the benefic influences, Saturn may disturb the finances.

Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu in the 2^nd house have not been praised in Vedic astrology.  

Rahu is the alternate Karaka of Saturn, may give fluctuation in finances, including losses through speculation, and may make a person too much of greedy for quick and snapshot income, making the native vulnerable as soft prey for deception by the frauds. Rahu is the planet of unconventionality, foreign/foreigners, & space, and by exploiting these three traits of Rahu through legal means, one can reap benefits if Rahu is in the 2^nd house of finances. I will tell you how. For example, if somebody wants to do business in milk and milk products, he will instead of selling milk and milk products in their raw form, he will sell flavoured milk (milk is now no longer raw milk but has become unconventional for adding legally permissible amount of flavour to it), sweet or salty curd (curd is no longer the curd in its original form but has become unconventional for adding legally permissible amount of sweet or salt in it) or sell his milk in front of a garage by maintaining hygiene, which is also an unconventional place for selling milk.  In such an event, Rahu, the planet of unconventionality in the 2^nd house, will start giving profit even from selling the milk, which does not fall under his domain, but for following his natural traits vis-a-vis his grip in the 2^nd house of your finances for occupying the 2^nd house. This type of technique, by following the rules and regulations, is called direction reading of the horoscopes by an astrologer, which most astrologers are ignorant of due to a lack of common sense and practical knowledge.

On the contrary, these astrologers will suggest expensive gemstones for commercial consideration and will tell you the name of the shop from which to buy, which will harm you. Ketu in the 2^nd house may provide finances through computer programming, language, and coding.

While the natural benefic planets tend to support the finances, and natural malefic planets tend to obstruct the finances, particularly Saturn, if not under the benefic influences.
