If a planet is debilitated, does it mean all significiances are destroyed or very weak?

Nothing is destroyed; rather, everything is achieved from a humble beginning.

Moreover, in over 80% of the cases, the planetary debilitation is cancelled under any of the following circumstances:

• If the planet is in a Kendra from the Lagna, the Moon, or its exaltation sign lord.
• The sign lord of the debilitated planet, if it is in Kendra from the Lagna, or the Moon.
• If the debilitated planet is in its sign of exaltation in the Navamsha.
• If the exalted lord or the debilitated lord of the debilitated planet aspect or conjuncts the debilitated planet, the debilitation is cancelled.
• If the exalted sign lord of the sign lord of the debilitated planet aspects or conjuncts the debilitated planet. For example, the Moon is debilitated in Scorpio, ruled by Mars. The exalted sign lord of Mars is Saturn. If Saturn conjuncts or aspects the debilitated Moon, the debilitation of the Moon will be cancelled.

So, what is the chance of a planet remaining debilitated under the above criteria? In most cases, the debilitated planet will fulfil any of the above criteria or more than one criterion, leading to cancellation of his debilitation (Neech Bhang), but please do not MISCONSTRUE the same always as Neech Bhang Raj Yoga.

The Neech Bhang Raj Yoga is formed only when the Neech planet is involved in the Raj Yoga of any kind; otherwise, not.

Further, if the lords of the 6/8/12 houses are debilitated, it is a blessing in disguise, with an exception in the case of the 8th lord since it represents Ayu (life span).

Even if the debilitation of a planet is not cancelled, no harm is going to take place since THE DEBILITATED PLANETS SHOW GROWTH FROM THE SCRATCHES.
